This album brings together two acousmatic works composed by Denis Dufour, each based on a single body of sound. The first, a series of short movements in an elaborate, baroque writing, is a classic (1978) drawing on all the techniques of the analog studio. More ample and symphonic, the second, created in the studio 123 of the GRM, occupies a prominent place among the works using digital sound transformation. It features expressive melodic and rhythmic counterpoints and brilliant flows from a distant trepidation to a mad and controlled trance.
