In this article (in three parts), Michael Eisenberg attempts to show how and why the concept of the "realm of the imaginal" developed by Henry Corbin in his Mundus Imaginalis can be ported over to the Acousmatic Music space.

He uses Denis Dufour's work in volume 1 of the Complete Acousmatic Works box set as an examplar of these apparent correspondences, "hopefully derive some connections with Corbin’s thoughts and the music of Dufour on this box".
